The reorganisation of the Berry Gardens group of companies has been completed.

KG Growers has re-acquired 100 per cent of the shareholding of UK marketing company Berry Gardens Ltd.

Driscoll’s and Alconeras have acquired 100 per cent of the shareholding of the mainland European marketing and plant supply companies, which will be renamed Driscoll’s of Europe.

Berry Gardens Ltd will be the exclusive UK sales agent of all of Driscoll’s berry varieties, and will also be exclusive UK sales agent for the non-UK production of both Driscoll’s and Alconeras.

KG Growers retains its exclusive rights to grow berries of Driscoll’s varieties in the UK on an ongoing basis.

Nick Marston, Berry Gardens Ltd managing director, said: “The reorganisation will allow the UK business to focus exclusively on providing consumers and retailers with a year-round, seamless supply of the full range of berries, with continued exclusive access to Driscoll’s proprietary berry varieties and technical support. Our aim will continue to be to provide the tastiest berries for customers to enjoy, creating the very best berry experience year-round, for all.”
