The second edition of the world pear congress, Interpera, will take place in Sint-Truiden, the heart of Belgium’s pear-producing region on May 28-29.
This year’s edition features lectures concerning fruit and pear production in Belgium; the first harvest forecasts for summer and autumn pears; the pear processing market; the distribution channels of pears in Europe; and finally a report on phytosanitary issues.
Optional participation in technical tours will feature simultaneous translation into Dutch, English, French, Spanish and Italian.
