Beatson Clark set for Food Expo

Beatson Clark has announced it will be exhibiting at the Food and Drink Expo as it looks to display its investment in new machinery and manufacturing processes such as lightweighting.

The event, at the NEC, Birmingham on March 21-24, 2010, is one of the largest trade exhibitions in the food and drink calendar and will provide a good opportunity for Beatson Clark to showcase its products and services.

The company has invested £2 million in an additional production line enabling it to supply an extra 75 million units of clear glass containers, further extending the company’s capability to produce glass packaging in various shapes and sizes.

Marketing manager Dawn Pugh said, “Food and Drink Expo is an excellent stage for Beatson Clark to demonstrate our expertise in providing glass packaging solutions for the food and drink industry.

“Beatson Clark is in a unique position within the UK glass packaging industry because we can target these smaller volume, premium product ranges and offer customers the manufacturing flexibility they require. In particular we have created really cost effective bespoke containers from standard designs, just by adding embossing to the finished moulds."
