A number of successful trials is pushing Australian mango producers to establish a commercial export business with Europe.
Producers in the Northern Territory and Western Australia said customers had been impressed with fruit quality.
The export outlet would also help improve the country’s domestic market, which has suffered from oversupply for a number of years.
One grower said supplying the European market would be very challenging but potentially lucrative for producers.
