The Asparagus Growers’ Association (AGA) has set a date for the Asparagus Growers’ Conference that will take place at Warwick HRI, Wellesbourne Warwickshire. The conference, which will include presentations from ADAS, Limseeds BV, the Stockbridge Technology Centre and Adrian Barlow, will take place on Thursday, March 13.
The AGA organises an asparagus orientated event for the industry each year, but this year the decision was made to hold an asparagus conference and specialised trade exhibition, which will include international machinery and equipment suppliers.
The event is open to all asparagus growers and anyone involved in the industry, and will cover a range of technical topics from disease control to the use of photoselective plastics. There will also be an update on the 2007 and 2008 British Asparagus PR Campaign from Pam Lloyd PR.
The conference and exhibition will run from 9.30am until 5pm.
