The Asiafruit Congress 2010 has secured the sponsorship of some of the global industry’s biggest players.

The conference, which takes place at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre on 8-10 September, will bring together some 600 of the fresh produce world's top decision makers to discuss a range of issues.

A record number of companies including Del Monte, Zespri, Washington Apple Commission, Cal-Ex, Lantao Shanghai Great Harvest, Blue Whale and Pear Bureau Northwest are sponsoring this year’s conference.

Asiafruit Congress has also made new additions to its programme offering key debate on the booming Asian fresh produce market.

High-profile speaker Tng Ah Yiam (ECR Singapore Council, Singapore) joins the discussion on safer fresh food for Asian shoppers, Kelvin Bezuidenhout (Zespri International, China) will give a first-hand insight to doing business with China and Francisco X Lorenzo (Lapanday Foods Corporation, Philippines) focuses on the Philippines' ongoing rise as an export force.
