Details have been announced of the lineup for this year’s Asiafruit Congress in Bangkok in September.

The Congress takes place over three days, with each day dedicated to a specific subject area. Day one focuses on the Asian consumer, with respresentatives of some of the largest marketers of fresh produce, including Zespri International and Rijk Zwaan, giving presentations on how they manage the issues of quality, price and convenience.

Day two - the retail day - will include a presentation on how Tesco views local sourcing opportunities in the rgion, as well as an ‘Asian Retail Panel’ to discuss the issues of the day.

The third day is dedicated to the trade, and will include an analysis of Asia’s fresh produce trade. Companies featured include Rabobank and Fresh Studio Innovations.

The Congress runs alongside the Asia Fruit Logistica event.
