Asia’s largest fresh produce trade fair will arrive in Hong Kong next September with exhibitors from more than 30 countries worldwide set to feature.

Asia Fruit Logistica takes place on September 2-4 2009 at Hong Kong’s Convention and Exhibition Centre.

The three-day trade fair brought together more than 3,800 trade visitors from 57 countries this year, 92 per cent of whom were involved in key purchasing and procurement roles in their businesses.

The campaign to promote next year’s three-day trade fair and conference event was launched this week in more than100 countries and will feature 215 exhibitors from 33 countries worldwide.

Gérald Lamusse, managing director of Global Produce Events GmbH said: “There are already some very positive signs for Asia exhibitors from all five continents are looking to step up their presence. Chile, one of the world’s largest exporters of fresh fruit, plan to use the trade fair as a focal point for their marketing activities in Asia next year.”

Asia Fruit Logistica is organised alongside the Asiafruit Congress.
