Asda’s fourth quarter sales rose by 1.6 per cent excluding fuel and VAT in stores open for more than a year.
Over the full year, like-for-like sales rose by 0.6 per cent using the same measure. Asda’s 145,000 UK employees will share a record bonus pot of £27 million.
The bonus is worth up to £350 for full-time staff, although around 20,000 will receive higher amounts.
