Asda has given a nationwide listing to a new cold-pressed British juice brand brought to market by the man behind salad giant PDM Produce.
The four products in the B.Fresh range have also been placed in the fresh fruit and vegetable produce aisle, as the supermarket bids to encourage consumers to see B.Fresh juices as one of their 5 A DAY.
With a wide range of drinks to choose from, consumers looking to move from fruit juice to the lower sugar vegetable-based juices can start off gently with #sweetgreens (apple, spinach, kale, lemon), before progressing onto the range's other vegetable-based juices being stocked at Asda, #rockthebeets (beetroot, apple, spinach, lemon), #carrotkick (carrot, apple and orange), and #greenwarrior (apple, cucumber, spinach, kale, lime, ginger).
Produced by third-generation farmer Philip Maddocks, all the drinks are cold-pressed and HPP-processed at the farm in Shropshire.
Wherever possible the fresh produce is grown on the farm or sourced from British farms before being taken to the B.Fresh ‘juicery’.
Maddocks said: “We are thrilled to have secured the listing in Asda and to be positioned with the fresh fruit and vegetables. As a farmer I am passionate about producing drinks that are as good as the fresh ingredients themselves and by being placed in this sector we feel that it shows how truly fresh our juices are.”
B.Fresh drinks are selling at Asda stores for £2.
