Good Natured blueberries from Argentina hit the shelves last week, as part of the extension of the brand.
The pesticide-free fruit, from Angus Soft Fruits (ASF), was introduced last season and is set for higher volumes this year.
John Gray, commercial director at ASF, told freshinfo: “We are expecting higher volumes this year following a trial last year with Chilean blueberries after Christmas. Now, the plan is to have Good Natured blueberries right the way through the southern hemisphere season.”
The Good Natured soft-fruit lines will continue after the festive period with Spanish strawberries and raspberries.
