Ardo UK has added eight new recruits to its burgeoning workforce.
Vanessa Zola, Collin Slater, Oliver Mulcahy, Andy Lane, Russell Carr, Susan Butcher, Gosia Wisniewska and Scott Morgan have all joined the frozen fruit and vegetable business in recent weeks.
Zola has worked in the food sector for 12 years and wants to see more debate around the role of fresh and frozen produce. She said: “I would like to see further education in the fresh-versus-frozen debate for consumers and believe that we as a company have a responsibility to do this.
'Ardo is a European leader in its field and has a great reputation for how it does business. I aim to deliver continual growth and development of our products and services we offer our clients.”
Slater takes up the role of technical director, while Wisniewska is the new quality manager. Mulcahy and Lane are shift engineers and Carr has been appointed as a systems business analyst. The other appointments are in management accounts and coldstore operations.
Slater added: “I wanted to work for Ardo as their high-quality products and focus on sustainability particularly appealed to me. I hope to support the operations team in its bid to achieve world-class standards in the factory and also drive a competitive advantage by offering superior technical service.”
