The sixth biennial show for the cultivation, storage and marketing of apples will open its doors in Bolzano from November 6-8.

A total of 98.8 per cent of guests confirmed they were impressed with the show.

Reinhold Marsoner, director of organiser Fiera Bolzano, said: “The preparations for Interpoma 2008 are up and running. This fair event - unique in the world - is an unmissable opportunity for sector professionals, an ideal forum to discover the latest trends, obtain information about offers and products, make business and meet high level experts.”

A conference entitled The Apple in the World will run alongside the exhibition.

Presentations will focus in international harmonisation of legislation on plant protection products residues, trends in organic apple production and trade restrictions and barriers in the international apple market.
