The company is also changing its name to Anglia Business Solutions Ltd to reflect its market offerings.

Two years ago, Anglia embarked on a rapid expansion policy designed to capitalise on its position as a leading UK supplier of business-oriented IT solutions. In 2003, the company grew turn-over by 30 per cent and gross margins by 50 per cent. Progress throughout 2004 has continued at the same pace as the market for integrated business solutions grows. The new premises located at Harston provide 50 per cent more floor space than the previous Milton Road headquarters.

"During the late 1990s, we reshaped the business to meet the forecast demand for business solutions that provided clients with a real competitive edge using IT as a facilitator," said md David Hurley. "We hired a team of highly skilled business-oriented consultants to augment our excellent infrastructure team. These had superb technical skills and practical working knowledge of the Microsoft Navision system. To these, we added Microsoft .NET development skills now one of the fastest growing IT sectors. As a result, we have been able to offer our clients total end-to-end solutions that have won a number of awards for innovation. These solutions now represent 25 per cent of all of the case studies on Microsoft’s MBS Navision UK Web site."

Anglia has increased its headcount by 50 per cent over the last two years and the new premises allow for the doubling of employee numbers as the business continues to expand.
