Air and food purification and sanitation specialist AirOcare has expanded its influence in South America with the addition of a branch in Santiago, Chile.

The company believes its presence in the vital agricultural and business hub of South America will enable it to better serve produce growers, shippers, and retailers all along the worldwide fresh food and floral cold chain.

In addition AirOcare claims its customers will benefit from its global business capabilities, state-of-the-art technology, US-based manufacturing and international expertise.

AirOcare South America has been assembled from an experienced, knowledgeable staff that has served 1,200 international customers, and executed 5,000 installations, over the past 14 years.

"The team is working with forward-thinking customers who want to maximise the quality and shelf-life of fruits, vegetables, flowers, and fresh cut products throughout the cold chain," said Carlos Lima, president of AirOcare South America.

"AirOcare South America bridges the gap between produce growers and buyers. The world market depends on the freshest fruit, vegetables, and flowers grown in Chile and throughout South and Central America every year.

"AirOcare's technology keeps products fresh as they make their way from the farms of Chile to grocery stores across the U.S. and Canada. Now the hundreds of agricultural companies doing business between North and South America can depend on AirOcare for the industry's most advanced air and food purification systems, and customer support," he added.
