The AIC’s annual Agribusiness conference will be held at the East of England Showground in Peterborough in November.

The conference, the theme of which will be ‘Assessing the climate; making the change’, will give delegates an insight into the potential opportunities and challenges posed by climate change to the agrisupply industry.

The show will cover topics ranging from policy to financial issues, with speakers including Lord Rooker, Rt Hon John Gummer, Dr Jeremy Tomkinson of the National Non-Food Crops Centre, and Toby Crewe from the Carbon Trust.

The conference will be accompanied by an exhibition, with businesses who supply products and services to the agricultural supply industry.

John Kelly, managing director of AIC services, said: “Whatever your stance on climate change, this event is guaranteed to highlight key areas where the agricultural sector can work together to seize opportunities.”
