Agrovista UK is holding a winter technical seminar on tree fruit crops on Thursday.
Peter Van Arkel will give a Dutch perspective on mechanical tree pruning. Leon Jahae will discuss the results of chemical fruitlet thinning trials in the UK. Paul Bennett will talk about the theory of chemical fruitlet thinning, and also cover scab and codling developments through 2010. Alex Radu will cover topics such as weather, scab trial results and developments in the computer-based modelling system for 2011.
There will also be a chance to ask the team questions about general fruit production issues.
The meeting will run from 9.30am to 3.30pm in Harlow, Essex on Thursday.
