Italian grower exporter Agricoper, one of Europe’s top table grape players, is looking to diversify in 2008.
Based in the southern region of Puglia, Agricoper’s production grew by 42.5 per cent and turnover was up 37.5 per cent in 2007, as its brand has expanded its exposure in 40 markets.
Its Grapes To Go convenience line has enjoyed great success internationally. Trials are underway that aim to revolutionise grape packaging with MAP.
But Agricoper has now signaled its intention to focus its attention on developing new products in the first half of 2008. At this stage, however, the precise nature of this expansion has been kept under wraps.
