AGA unveils new apple stores

Apple Growers Association Ltd (AGA), has opened a new 2,500 bin storage facility at Horsmonden, Kent.

The building represents an investment of more than £600,000 that was 40 per cent grant-funded by the regional development agency Seeda.

AGA chairman David Knight said: “We were having to hire storage but this has enabled to us bring it all back home. Being so up-to-date it means we can store all the new varieties Gala, Cameo and Braeburn through to April or May.”
