Afrifresh strengthens citrus export team

The South African citrus export group Afrifresh/Sunpride has added two new members to its team.

Dr Gawie Eksteen, who until recently was technical director of the PPECB, has joined as a technical adviser. Jan Van Nes, chairman of Fruit South Africa has also joined as chief operating officer.

Group director Roy Fine said: “Both Dr. Eksteen and Jan Van Nes are passionate about our industry. They bring additional expertise and experience to our well established and committed team and we are delighted to have them on board.”
