The food, drink and agricultural division (FDA) of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) is holding its annual president's dinner at the House of Commons on June 23.

Open to all interested parties, the event offers the opportunity to meet a variety of people within the food, drink and agricultural industries.

Held in the Churchill Room and hosted by Austin Mitchell MP, the night will feature guest speaker, David Hughes - Emeritus Professor of food marketing at the Centre for Food Chain Research at Imperial College.

An award for excellence in marketing will also be presented to a company that has demonstrated outstanding innovation, on the night.

David Desbrow, FDA president said: "This event always proves popular. As well as being a thoroughly enjoyable evening, past attendees have found it a useful networking experience."
