Local sharing app Olio has teamed up with reduced-to-clear platform Gander to help consumers reduce costs and tackle food waste.

As part of the partnership, Olio has introduced a new ‘Deals’ section on the app. It allows food businesses to drive discounted food sales by showing its four million UK users groceries at cut prices in participating local stores.

Users of can now browse yellow sticker deals at Gander’s growing list of  retail partners, including Morrisons Channel Islands, Filco Market, Pricewatch Group, and Sewell on the Go.

It also displays branded products from Nisa, Morrisons Daily and Co-op.

Gander powers the ‘Deals’ section on Olio through its optimised reduced-to-clear feed, which is available in the UK, Australia and Brazil.
