Fresh produce supplier Mack has unveiled its new consumer website, featuring a revamp of its fruit-basket service.

Customers can now use www.fruit-baskets.co.uk, a collaboration between Mack Service and the Worshipful Company of Fruiterers, to order from a wider range of fruit boxes and baskets, with a donation for every purchase made to the Fruiterers to enable them to feed the homeless with fresh produce.

'We’ve now introduced the box offer, which is a new direction for us, and we can’t wait for the site to attract the volume we expect,' said Garry Cirillo, general manager at Mack Service.

Mack will operate and distribute orders from its retail production site in Nursling, Southampton, and the website will also launch with a complementary social media campaign via Twitter and Facebook.

With the likes of Abel & Cole and Riverford already established in the fruit-box market, Cirillo is hopeful Mack's creative design and fresh direction will help the service to stand out from the crowd.

He added: 'We’ve been working really hard to create a website that stands out from the crowd in a competitive marketplace.

'Our products are fresh and exciting, and we wanted the site to reflect our enthusiasm, our expertise and to present them in the most effective way with a strong new brand.

You can visit the website here, which offers a selection of fruit baskets and boxes with everything covered from tropical and exotics to traditional ranges.
