Convenience snack company Fruitypot will supply the ninth and final series of ITV’s Dancing on Ice.

Fruitypot will be promoting its partnership across social media and online platforms, as well as supplying contestants and production staff on the show.

Managing director of Fruitypot, Sarah Booth, said: “We are delighted to be a supplier to Dancing on Ice Series 9. The ultimate aim for the brand is to promote healthy lifestyles and help people achieve their five a day.

“The link with Dancing on Ice very much supports this aim as it highlights ice-skating as a sport and encourages people to lead an active lifestyle. Over the next few months we are hoping to encourage the Fruitypot audience to get active and try something new in 2014.”

Yorkshire-based Fruitypot is a subsidiary of foodservice supplier Caterers Choice.

The four Fruitypot flavours (pineapple, peach & pear, tropical fruit and mandarin) are available in fruit juice and jelly forms.

Dancing on Ice is fronted by Phillip Schofield and Christine Bleakley and the celebrities are coached by ice-skating legends Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean.
