Footprints4Food (F4F) is holding a second seminar to remove the mysticism of carbon footprinting.
The feedback from attendees of the original seminar said “it was refreshing to attend a seminar based on science research and given by researchers. Usually information is diluted to make it accessible to all, but often loses its meaning and relevance in doing so”.
Nicola Attarzadeh, F4F project manager, said the aim of the seminar is to explain what is included in a footprint, how it is calculated, and how your company may benefit from completing a footprint.
Specific areas will cover the complexities of CHP units, waste, soil emissions and crop production factors.
The seminar will be presented by experts from F4F and Bangor University.
It will be held at Harper Adams University College on 15 February with more details online at www.footprints4food.co.uk.
