Capespan's chairman, Paul Clüver, has been named as Business Personality of the Year 2005.
The Cape Times/ KPMG award follows Capespan’s 2004 win as Exporter of the Year.
In October, the Cape Times and KMPG in association with the University of Cape Town Graduate School of Business, unanimously confirmed that Clüver excelled at optimum levels when it came to; business and entrepreneurial excellence, outstanding company performance and a sustained track record longer than two years.
They also praised Clüver for his social conscience and involvement in the workforce and the community, his contribution to the economic welfare of the Western Cape and held him up as a role model for others.
