Company’s festive campaign brings burst of yellow to holiday celebrations in North America

Multinational fruit brand Chiquita has followed in the footsteps of Lidl, Heinz Beans, and Domino’s Pizza with the launch of its very own Christmas sweater.

From 20 November until 9 December, the company will invite its Instagram followers to post photos of their own festive moments using the hashtage # yellowholidays,

Each day, fifty lucky participants will also have the chance to win a quirky, yellow jumper – only a thousand have been made – inspired by what is now a well-established Christmas tradition.

“As the holidays approach, it’s the perfect time to bring together two icons: Chiquita and the beloved ugly Christmas sweater,” says Juliana Furlan, director of marketing for Chiquita North America.

“Our Yellow Holidays campaign is all about bringing people together, spreading joy and sharing the lighthearted spirit that makes the season so special.”

Throughout the campaign, Chiquita’s aim is to celebrate familiar winter traditions by sharing content that features festive activities like baking, decorating, and DIY crafts.

The campaign’s final day coincides with National Ugly Holiday Sweater Day on 20 December.
