Truly Nuts has developed a harvesting process in the Amazon powered by nut shells
A world-first line of flavoured Brazil nut snacks is being rolled out at WHSmith travel stores across the country.
Truly Nuts, which is a White Lion Foods company, said the listing aims to meet the increasing demand from health-conscious consumers and broaden the range of food-to-go options for time-pressed travellers.
The range will be available in 146 WHSmith travel stores, primarily located in airports, and will include smoked mixed nuts, milk chocolate Brazil nuts, salted almonds, and chili mixed nuts.
Truly Nuts! will be priced at £3.99 per 120g pack, with a promotional offer of two packs for £6. The snacks will be exclusively available in WHSmith travel outlets and will not be accessible through WHSmith’s online platform.
The brand is also available to buy in 30g and 120g bags on Amazon and via the Truly Nuts! website.
Truly Nuts claims to be the first company to successfully infuse Brazil nuts, saying it overcame initial scepticism from industry experts and has established a cutting-edge facility implementing a sustainable Brazil nut harvesting process deep within the Amazon rainforest, powered exclusively by nut shells.
Gareth Lloyd, co-founder and CEO of Truly Nuts, said: “We are thrilled to team up with WHSmith to bring Truly Nuts! to consumers across the UK. Our mission has always been to provide nutritious snacks, and WHSmith shares our values, commitment to sustainability, and dedication to healthier snacking options.
“In today’s world, where choosing a snack can also mean contributing to the restoration of the Amazon, having that choice is incredibly important.”
