Barfoots of Botley was hoping to appeal to the time-restricted consumer with its attractive range of sweetcorn and mixed vegetable kebabs at IFE.

Barfoots commercial manager, Chris Moreman, above, said the range had been getting a good response at the international event: “They are all microwavable but can be finished off on the barbecue and can be a nice healthy option, or not, if you choose to add the butter which is on the side.”

The kebabs are prepared with a range of sauces, including pesto, lime, chilli and piri-piri. Moreman explained that Barfoots has entered an arrangement with one of its biggest customers, the nation-wide restaurant chain Nando’s, to offer its signature piri-piri sauce as an innovative accompaniment to corn on the cob.
