The great Sundowner giveaway

Sundowner® apples are being given away at three London mainline stations this week to raise awareness of the crunchy red apple.

Almost 10,000 apples will be offered to London commuters at Euston, Liverpool Street and Paddington stations, beginning today (August 18) until Monday.

Sundowner, with its clearly recognisable kangaroo logo, is well-known as the outdoor apple, ideal for picnics, lunchboxes or being eaten on the go, due to being less susceptible to bruising.

Despite the Australian themed logo, the majority of Sundowner apples eaten in the UK are grown in South Africa, with the apples already available in major supermarkets.

Sundowner® is the registered trademark of Apple and Pear Australia (APAL).
