Tesco has threatened to complain to the Advertising Standards Authority about online retailer Ocado’s latest ad campaign, according to The Daily Telegraph.

Earlier this week, Ocado, which is owned by John Lewis and sells Waitrose food, claimed it would match Tesco prices on 3,500 household brands.

But Tesco has been angered by the claims, stating it is still cheaper on 2,500 products, with Ocado up to 65 per cent more expensive on some lines.
