Tesco has appointed its first female director to its executive board.
The supermarket giant has promoted Lucy Neville-Rolfe to the role of executive director of corporate and legal affairs.
Neville-Rolfe, 53, who has previously worked at the Cabinet Office and 10 Downing Street, is also deputy chairman of the British Retail Consortium.
