Cranfield is set to receive a share of a £12m BBSRC investment for advanced training for the development of the agri-food industry.
The university is one of a consortium of four bodies to share the funding, which offers employees within the agri-food industry the chance to gain a part-time postgraduate research degree.
Employees who meet the eligibility requirements can apply to attend Canfield on a part-time basis and study a funded MSc by Research or PhD in food, fresh produce, soils, sustainability and water.
Those taking part can take advantage of a number of benefits, according to Cranfield. These include having a funded career development, expert support and facilities and a flexible study programme.
