HR specialist Staffline has acquired the trade and assets of DKM Labour Solutions, a Nottingham-based provider of recruitment solutions across the UK, from the joint administrators in a pre-pack deal.

Staffline has a business strategy of “making selective acquisitions to broaden its revenue streams” and has acquired The Workplace and Peter Rowley Ltd in the last year.

DKM Labour has an excellent reputation for providing trained labour to the food processing sector across the UK. It is based in Nottingham and has 26 employees.

The directors believe that DKM’s business model and customer base is complementary to Staffline, in particular in the resilient food-processing sector.

Andy Hogarth, Staffline’s chairman and ceo, said: “We have had a strong start to trading in the year in our core business and are benefitting from the OnSites opened during 2009. In addition to organic growth, we continue to look for similar acquisition opportunities, both companies in financial difficulty and those trading successfully, in order to enhance shareholder value.”
