Management Development Services (MDS) has received high-praise by the Investors in People review board, which has renewed its quality award for a second time.

The specialist training organisation based near Spalding, Lincolnshire, is a consortium of member companies, which has pioneered a fast-track management training programme for the fresh food and produce industry.

Companies ranging from SMEs to major multiples, many of them competitors in the commercial sense, work together with the common goal of attracting high-calibre graduates into the industry.

Manager Jules Carey welcomed the renewal of the quality award. She said: 'This award reinforces the reputation of MDS as a specialist training organisation which identifies potential leaders and gives them skills and experience needed to make them effective managers once they take on a permanent post.'
