Smitten arrives back in Morrisons

The first Smitten apples of the season from New Zealand are back in Morrisons this week.

This is the second season Morrisons has sold Smitten on an exclusive agreement with the apples available in selected stores throughout May and June. Its season runs some two weeks ahead of Royal Gala and it is firm and stores well.

Seventeen Ltd is the NZ licensee for Smitten which is grown in New Zealand by the Heartland Group, Enza, Johnny Appleseed, Pickmee! Fruit, DM Palmer and Mr Apple.

Trees are also in the ground in Germany, Italy, the UK, France, Switzerland, the Netherlands and Belgium.
