Lancashire-based salad supplier, Salads to Go, has been named one of Britain’s top private companies by a Sunday broadsheet.

The company ranked 38th position in the Sunday Times Virgin Atlantic Fast Track 100 League Table, representing companies with the fastest growing sales between 2001 and 2004.

All companies on the table were in profit and forecast continued growth for the year ahead.

Co-owned by Stephen Rogers and Julie Bolton, Salads to go supplies prepared leaf salads into the food service and convenience sectors.

Bolton said: “Salads to Go has enjoyed a fantastic growth year on year, since we started production in 2000.

“This is a great achievement and is testimony to the hard work and commitment of all our team. We have enjoyed solid support from both our clients and suppliers over the past five years and look forward to new challenges in what is becoming an increasingly competitive marketplace,” she added.
