The Re:fresh Partnership is carrying out a major survey of the UK fresh produce industry. Conducted by Grant Thornton, the project will launch on Monday.
A wide cross-section of the industry will be contacted by telephone for their views on the principal issues affecting the sector today and where the industry is heading.
The results of the research will be published in report form and also presented and discussed in depth at the Re:fresh Conference 2006, in London on May 11. They will be collated to provide a detailed overview on the state of the industry, as well as focusing on five key sectors: retail, wholesale, foodservice, supply and production.
