Re:fresh ñ a new brand in industry events

The Fresh Produce Consortium, the Fresh Produce Journal and Highbury-Nexus Media have combined to jointly host a new one-day conference and exhibition for the UK's fresh produce sector.

Re:fresh 2004 ñ at London's Marriott Hotel in Grosvenor Square on May 6 ñ will be the first truly all-encompassing industry event. It will address major issues facing all facets of the industry, from breeder to buyer, and beyond.

Between our three organisations, we cover the whole fruit and vegetable industry, from seed to store.

Featuring a programme of high profile speakers and participants from all sectors, Re:fresh will educate and invigorate delegates from every link in the supply chain. The event will end with a gala awards dinner, which will recognise outstanding performers from each of the FPC's four divisions.

The networking opportunities are evident, however, Re:fresh is an opportunity for you to acquire knowledge that will have a positive impact on your business.

Doug Henderson, chief executive of the FPC, said: “The fast-paced world of fresh produce, one of the most dynamic commercial sectors, leaves little room for reflection. Whichever sector your business is involved in, the demands of the consumer, shareholder, customer, government etc.. change seemingly by the day.

“The successful business has to retain the focus required to supply the highest quality produce to its immediate customer while maintaining contact with the changing environment it works in.

“Time is a precious commodity. The opportunity to spend a day listening to and interacting with the leading names in your industry will be a worthwhile investment.”
