Recruitment firm Redfox has announced the appointment of David Laing as a recruitment consultant in agriculture, fresh produce, food manufacturing and retail consultancy.
Laing will be majoring on the fresh produce and agricultural sectors both in the UK and internationally.
He has more than five year’s fresh produce experience, having initially studied at the Royal Agricultural College in Cirencester.
He joined the G’s Marketing’s Management Training Scheme in 2005 and worked extensively within their operations, trading, commercial, and logistics divisions. He then joined the G’s commercial team dealing directly with the major multiples.
Laing said: “As a passionate follower of the agricultural and fresh produce arenas, I’m very keen to assist key clients in both sectors to source and place the best possible individuals with them. This will hopefully allow those companies and the sectors as a whole progress in challenging but very interesting times.”
