Produce World has dropped the Marshalls, Solanum and Rustler names from its divisions as part of a new unified branding for the group.

Documents filed at Companies House show that Marshalls will now be known as Produce World Butterwick, with Rustler becoming Produce World Chatteris. With the names following the format of Produce World plus the location, Sutton Bridge is the new name for Solanum, with Yaxley for RBO and Isleham for IFP.

Group HR director David Frost said the move was intended to give a unified company branding to the various divisions. “We rebranded the business partially two years ago,” he explained. “We refreshed the Produce World logo and look, and we always intended within two years to move to the next stage.

“We did it in stages because of the history of these businesses, and because of our colleagues and customers who were used to dealing with them.”

However the group has been implementing unified systems, platforms and ways of working which made it the right time to make the change, he added.

“Some people still refer to Marshalls and so on so its easier to show we are one business this way.”
