Pomona is the most important wholesaler in France in terms of turnover - what other measurement is there, these days?

Two years ago the company decided to segment its activities in three different subsidiaries: PassionFroid for frozen food, EpiSaveur for groceries and TerreAzur for fresh produce.

But the three held a joint meeting on the Rungis market for the first time recently. To say it was a success would not give enough credit to the truth - more than 2,000 clients from retail and catering came to meet the Pomona commercial team and 100 suppliers participated in an extravaganza of food, light and sound.

It was also a good opportunity to learn more about the TerreAzur concept for fresh produce, which sees Pomona label its products 100 per cent Terroir.
