Ten years after opening its first doors in the UK, London-based organic and natural food supermarket Planet Organic is set to open four new stores in and around the capital.
Planet Organic has three London stores and is looking to expand within the M25.
The organic retailer raised the necessary funds from its existing shareholder group. Planet Organic currently trades from three London locations, and will be focusing growth in urban areas within the M25 circular.
Founder Renée Elliott said: “The organic market is booming and now is the time to step up the pace with our expansion plans. With 4,000 organic lines, we are uniquely placed to offer maximum choice to local communities.
“This local format works very well in densely populated areas. We are looking to fill key positions in the senior team in order to support our plans.”
