The most eye-catching stand at the FloraHolland trade fair was awarded by visitors for the first time this year.
Erik van der Pol, director of Oriental Growers, received the Originality Prize from FloraHolland Naaldwijk location manager Gijs Kok at a presentation last Thursday.
Kok said: “That our standholders increasingly cater to customer demand is nothing new. So it is very logical that our customers, as visitors to our fair, decide who wins the Originality Prize.”
The 12 nominations for the FloraHolland Award 2008, to be presented at the end of May, were also announced at the event.
