NIAB EMR has opened applications for PhDs on six of the most important challenges and opportunities facing the horticultural sector.
The six studentships are on fruit flies and fatal fungi; making genotyping cheaper and easier; novel ways of managing tree crop fungal diseases; realising increased photosynthetic efficiency to increase strawberry yields; and understanding soil resilience to improve tree health.
Part of the BBSRC-funded Collaborative Training Partnership for Fruit Crop Research, the PhDs can be applied for until 13 April via the Findaphd website.
