New mounted spray kit launched

Allman Sprayers has launched its new Spraymaster tractor mounted sprayer.

The new kit features a slim tank design, with capacities of 800, 1,000 and 1,200 litres, incorporating clean water flush tank and hand wash tank within the overall design of the main chemical tank.

The chassis is hot dipped galvanised and incorporates adjustable parking legs for ease of hitching on and off the tractor. The design of the tank allows the main chassis to be connected between the front and rear giving extra strength.

In addition to the new tank design there is a new rear folding boom in 12 and 15 metre sizes, which are hot dipped galvanised and have stainless steel spray lines.

The Spraymaster is equipped with the Allman ‘Evenride’ boom. By maintaining the right height even when travelling over uneven terrain it keeps the ‘Spraymaster’ spraying accurately and allows faster forward speeds with minimum wear and tear on the boom linkages and structure, according to the company.

Height control is achieved via a long stroke hydraulic cylinder, attached to the tractor, which provides 1.12 m (45 degrees) of adjustment and is said to offer good under boom clearance so that the sprayer can cope with taller crops. Boom options are 12-24 metres for fully hydraulic booms.

The sequential six-stage filtration system which is designed to prevent nozzle blockage and down time comprises: basket filter in tank top for overhead filling; suction hose filter; chemical induction hopper filter; main line suction filter; self cleaning control manifold filter; 50 or 100 mesh nozzle filters.
