Ian Welsh has left Parripak to be replaced by Nick Gale as managing director.
Former Parripak and Hazeldene commercial director, Gale takes over from Welsh who left his role as interim md after nine months to pursue opportunities outside the William Jackson Food Group, which owns Parripak.
Gale has previous food industry experience, specifically chilled food, gained with Northern Foods, Baxters Food Group and S&A Foods. Since a buy-out of Solway Veg by Parripak, the Gretna operation has been rebranded as Parripak Gretna and operates as part of the group.
A William Jackson spokesperson said: ”We wish Ian success for the future and would like to welcome Nick to this key leadership role.”
