Minor, Weir & Willis Ltd (MWW), one of the UK's largest importers and handlers of fresh produce for the multiples has unveiled a fresh new look after a complete programme of re-branding.

The company is celebrating its 45th birthday this year having been established in Birmingham in 1963 initially as a supplier of exotics. Its expansion has seen it expand to include companies in Spain, The Netherlands and Germany as part of the MMW group and it now sells produce around the world to UK and continental European customers.

Established in 1963 as an ‘exotics’ company, the Midlands-based business MWW group today includes companies in Holland, Spain and Germany specialising in the procurement of a wide range of fresh produce from around the world for sale in the UK and continental Europe.

MMW wanted a new image to reflect its position as one of the UK’s largest and most respected distributors of fresh produce and to reflect its own emphasis on first-calss service and worker and environment welfare.

Design and marketing agency OWB has created a new suite of internal and external communications, website, signage, fresh new livery for MMW’s vehicle fleet and even an updated look for the company’s reception at its Birmingham HQ. “Our focus is on improving the supply chain for our valued customers, consistently seeking new products and suppliers across the globe and providing an on-demand service for British consumers, “ said

Sant Mehta, chairman of MWW. Our comprehensive new brand identity takes us into the 21st century and changing our name from Minor Weir & Willis to MWW for instance now truly reflects the energy and spirit of the company and we look forward to seeing our business go from strength to strength.”
