Scotts Potato Machinery used the BP2005 show to launch its latest machine - the Evolution Separator.
Billed as the most advanced stone and clod separator available today, the Separator can fit most two-row potato harvesters, the company said.
It consists of four shafts made from de-formable multi-fluted rubber rollers and adjustable stainless steel or rubber clod rollers.
The fluted rollers are driven by a variable speed monitor and are available in three increasingly aggressive versions, with the least aggressive 8mm flute suitable for use with salad potatoes.
As well as potatoes, the Separator can be used for a range of root crops including carrots onions, parsnips and turnips, the company added.
