Horticulturist Ivor Mace, who has been growing roses for over 35 years, was happy to share his knowledge with enthusiasts at Lantra's stand at the Royal Welsh Show.
The demonstration was part of a variety of events taking place at the Sector Skills Council's regional office on the showground in Builth Wells.
With Lantra focusing on horticulture as the theme for the day, landscaping, and floristry architect experts, Symonds also game a demonstration on the latest for landscape design.
David Spencer, chairman of British Association of Landscape Industries, was also on the stand to give advice on the help that's available for small landscaping businesses in Wales.
